About Kassaboera Lodge
The name Kassaboera originates from the owner Kas Pretorius and the Afrikaner Culture of the Boer, namely hospitality, a warm friendly greeting and a love of Africa and its wildlife.
The owner, Kas’ deep roots in the Afrikaner culture is reflected throughout the theme of the lodge, exploring numerous parts of the culture’s diverse history and character. Game hunting, Boerekos -explore a world of cultural wonder unlike any you have seen before.
The concept of the lodge was formed around a complete shortage of lodges surrounding this specific culture, which is a true shame. The Afrikaner culture is still an unexplored treasure many have yet to experience – an experience Kassaboera Lodge is striving to share with the world.
The lodge itself is an experience to stroll through with wonderfully warm colours and incredible finishes to make one feel truly comfortable and at home.

Kassaboera’s menu is culturally centered. Enjoy the food the Afrikaner nation was built on and enjoy a cuisine completely unique from that of any other culture. During special evenings our clients will enjoy outdoor meals prepared in tried-and-tested “boere” fashion. Whether you are enjoying a typical meal or one of the special evenings you are in for a treat.

Kassaboera Lodge is more than happy to arrange sightseeing tours for our clients to introduce them to all the local activities and adventure hotspots.
If requested, Kassaboera Lodge can arrange transport from the airport to the lodge through scenic South Africa.
