Kern was established in 2001 and has been providing reliable secondary support and mining services to the industry since then. Current and previous clients of Kern include Anglo Platinum, Sibanye Stillwater, Harmony, and Pan African Resources. KERN endeavors to facilitate the cost-saving drive currently prevalent in the mining Industry by the provisioning of cost-effective Secondary Support.
Kern is classified as a large company with more than 220 permanent employees and an annual turnover of more than R 50,000 000.00. We are currently contracted to do Secondary Support in the Barberton, Rustenburg, Steelpoort, and Johannesburg areas.
Kern is currently a level 8 BBBEE contributor.
