History
Samson Technologies provides durable high quality concrete finishes for commercial, industrial and residential projects. We are committed to service excellence. David Samson has been involved in the concrete floor industry for over 40 years. He has personally been involved in projects in the USA, Canada, Columbia, Britain, Poland, China, Malaysia, Singapore and of course, South Africa. Over these years unique products have been developed to offer the construction industry improved performance materials and installation techniques that ensure the highest quality concrete floors. David Samson was the controlling shareholder of Samson Construction Products (Pty) Ltd. He sold the business in 2005 and after a short break in the industry he came back and together with his daughter, Janet van Zyl, he husband Sarel van Zyl and business partner Ian Thomson, started Samson Technologies. Mr. Samson has formulated many new products and provided a range more pertinent to the industry’s needs and coupled this with a skills transfer initiative, known as “Siyafundisa” (meaning “we teach”), to ensure excellence in service floors. Janet van Zyl has a very active roll in the business as operations director and has spent many hours in the laboratory understanding the product performance and chemical reactions that make the product effective.
